Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDREMDR is an advanced, clinically proven substance abuse treatment therapy.  EMDR uses “dual stimulation” exercises that explore past trauma while simultaneously engaging other parts of the brain through bilateral eye movements, taps or tones.  The mind responds by becoming more open to reprogramming so that traumatic memories of the past can be viewed and processed in healthy new ways—which in turn enhances the effectiveness of other substance abuse treatment therapies
